The book is an excellent guide for the beginner
through the experienced Wing Tsun (or even Wing Chun) practitioner.
It provides step by step guides to the Siu Nim Tao and Chum
Kiu forms and also introduces the wooded dummy and Bil Je.
One of the books main features is its break down of the WT
system, complete with history and hierarchy. For the beginner
to intermediate, it an excellent starting place to learn about
the essence of the system. For the advanced, it will provide
a vast resource of information, not only on the Wing Tsun
Kung Fu Fighting Style but also on the organization behind
it.
On the down side I would have to say that the
Chi Sau explanations may be a bit difficult to follow and
understand if completely new to the Art. However, I think,
that should be expected.
