4 out of 5 - Oct 17, 2001
I brought this book on the recommendations of
a friend. I am currently working on some of the many exercises
listed in this book to improve my speed.
This book has some useful information in it
and explains how to perform each exercise properly. It is
obvious that the author spent much time carefully researching
each attribute of speed and designing exercises from this
knowledge. I particularly like the idea of the high rep maximum
effort exercises.
However, I thought that the beginning section
of the book went into too much detail. The biology was not
necessary although it was interesting in places.
I recommend this book to every striking martial
artist.
