I am now at the end of the stage 3 in the advanced
program, having started from the beginner program nearly two
years ago. There is a lot in this book but with persistence
your body will change to one you can be proud of. Take encouragement,
if I can do it you can, I train at home with minimal equipment,
am now 38 years old with three children and a separation on
my C.V.!
The book can be open to interpretation; it suits
me to push as hard as I can through each workout, only resting
at the very heavy sets, suit yourself. Get information on
dieting to complement the book, I found out the hard way having
over trained last Christmas. Getting an email from Lou Schuler
which pointed me in right direction, I changed my lifestyle
another bit (not enough carbs or sleep) and can now train
six weeks in a row, three days a week with cardio on two.
I have recommended this book to others and will
keep on recommending it to those who really want to take time
make a difference to their lifestyle and have a healthy body.
